About us

Hello I'm Amy West I'm 13 years  old  and I founded Westwood Productions, my own musical theatre company, to create and share original shows with young performers who love what I love.

In 2024, I wrote, produced, directed, choreographed, and performed in my first show, Magic Mishaps, which raised over £600 for charity. I’m now working on my second production, Stars Overnight alongside Lottie who is 13 as well. We are currently in rehearsals and set to perform at the Ovo Theatre, St Albans, on March 22, 2026.

We were awarded a £2,000 Arts Council grant to support Stars Overnight, which features a cast and crew of  23 girls aged 8–15 all from eight different schools. We organise everything from auditions and choreography to set design, costumes, and rehearsals with help from the backstage, props and costume crew.

I developed Theatre Helper, an app that keeps rehearsals organised with tools like a calendar, team chat, cast directory, progress trackers, and a props and costume organiser.

Westwood Productions is all about creativity, teamwork, and the magic of performing together.
